    FAQ

How does IntoCal work with AI agents?

Every IntoCal user gets a hosted MCP (Model Context Protocol) server at a predictable URL. Any MCP-compatible agent — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf, Warp — can query your available slots and create bookings natively, no extra setup.

Do I need an API key?

No key needed for public read + booking-request mode. Guest bookings are held until the guest clicks a confirmation link. For owner-mode (auto-confirmed bookings, full tool set), generate an API key in Dashboard → MCP and paste it once into your agent.

What tools does the MCP server expose?

    list_event_types, query_slots, request_booking, list_hosts_for_event, book_with_host (public); create_booking, list_bookings, cancel_booking, list_team_members (owner-mode).

How is this different from Calendly's API?

Calendly requires you to build a client for their REST API and host it. IntoCal's MCP server is discoverable by any MCP agent out of the box — no client code, no OAuth dance, no maintenance.

Is there AI discovery for search engines?

Yes. IntoCal publishes /.well-known/mcp.json, /.well-known/ai-plugin.json, /llms.txt, and /llms-full.txt so AI search engines (Perplexity, ChatGPT Search, Google AI Overviews) can index the platform and cite it accurately.
