IntoCal

    IntoCal + Make

Build visual booking automations in Make (formerly Integromat). Route every IntoCal booking through filters, routers and 2,000+ apps.

Quick answer: IntoCal connects to Make with a Custom Webhook module. Create a scenario starting with Webhooks → Custom webhook, copy the URL into IntoCal Integrations → Make, and choose booking events. Make then receives each booking as structured JSON that you can filter, route and send to any app.

Make is ideal when a booking should do different things depending on who booked or what they answered. Routers and filters let you send enterprise leads to the CRM and sales Slack, and everyone else to a newsletter — in one scenario.

IntoCal delivers booking events instantly to your Make webhook, including custom form answers, UTC timestamps, event type, host and meeting location.

Make's free plan includes webhooks, so you can automate bookings without paying for either tool.

    How It Works

Get set up in under two minutes.

    1

    Add a Custom webhook

In a new Make scenario, add Webhooks → Custom webhook, create a hook and copy its URL.

    2

    Connect in IntoCal

Go to Integrations → Make, paste the URL and select the booking events.

    3

    Determine data structure

Click "Redetermine data structure" in Make, then make a test booking. Add your next modules and turn the scenario on.

    Scenario ideas

    • Router: if the guest email domain is a company domain, create a HubSpot deal; otherwise add to Mailchimp.
    • Write every booking to Google Sheets and build a weekly utilization report.
    • Create a Monday.com or Asana item for onboarding calls with the booking time as due date.
    • Send a WhatsApp or SMS confirmation through Twilio for in-person appointments.
    • On cancellation, free up the related resource in Airtable and notify the team.

    Webhook headers and security

Requests include X-IntoCal-Event, X-IntoCal-Signature (sha256=HMAC of the body with your endpoint secret), X-IntoCal-Timestamp and a unique X-IntoCal-Delivery ID you can use to ignore duplicates.

When to use the API instead

Webhooks tell Make what happened. To let Make act on IntoCal — create bookings, check open slots, cancel meetings — use Make's HTTP module with the IntoCal REST API and an sk_live_ API key.
